Discovery Scuba Diving

This is a great introduction to the wonderful underwater world of diving. After your introductory dive class sit back and enjoy an underwater baptism, one of the most popular diving activities on the island!

After a brief theoretical class while navigating to the diving point, you will have a time of adaptation at the surface. Always with an instructor and totally equipped, you will float with your face in the water to accustom yourself with breathing only through the mouth. After getting adapted you are ready to go down! Your instructor maintains physical contact during the whole dive. The maximum depth you will reach is 15 meters, and the time of diving is 30 minutes (not counting the adaptation).

The underwater baptism operations are usually held in the afternoon.
